Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

Really and truly! But his craziness infected the whole field for a while. The original blurb on this tale (about also-subterranean people, which the Deros were, or someone was, or maybe the subterranean stuff was just a psychotic episode that Shaver turned into a story) was, "This is not a story about the Dero! This is a story about a lost people -- a persuasive and haunting story about a people, in a not too distant future, who have been forgotten by history. And it is the story of a little group of courageous people, determined to prove that Death was a Myth!"Strange stuff. But it wasn't a Shaver Mystery.
